Digital Graffiti
I was invited to be an Artist-in-Residence at the 2023 Digital Graffiti Festival in Alys Beach, Florida. I created the “Everything is Falling Apart” film to be projection mapped on an architectural structure for the event.
Found Typography
Some examples of an on-going series of Asemic / Abstract typographic studies. These were created using a microscope to photograph the covers and interiors of books and magazines.
Collage
This series also includes typographic collages created through various post-processing techniques.
Scanography
Another aspect of this series is the process of scanography - pulling printed images through a scanner repeatedly, and then sequencing them together on a timeline.
Collage + Citracel
Examples of collage created with found National Geographic magazines treated with citracel - a citrus based cleaning product that breaks down the printed material.
